So if you want to soundproof a room, use foam to absorb soundwaves.
How does soundproof paint really work in dampening the sound?
Soundproof paid or acoustic paint can work both ways to make a room soundproof. There is a thin layer of paint but it still reduces the amount of sound coming and going through it.
